Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
After graduating with a business degree from UGA, I found myself in sales, sponsorship, and events of the corporate sectors of business. While I enjoyed what I did and created some lasting connections and friendships, I shifted in my passions and idea of success after my own journey with infertility and breast cancer. I stepped down from the corporate world after going into remission from breast cancer and focused my full energy and attention on my family when my brother was diagnosed with a rare form of sarcoma and my oldest son needed an advocate for his learning differences due to Autism. I felt strongly about finding a new path that offered me the opportunity to put my experience and passion to a greater purpose in either autism, breast cancer, or fertility spaces. A dear friend of mine saw the posting for the Atlanta Manager job at JFF and sent me the information and the rest is history. I feel extremely fortunate to be part of such an amazingly smart, dynamic, selfless, and powerful team of moms who all connect on the passion of helping others build a family and supporting them throughout their journey. I learn so much from my JFF family each day and feel honored that I am entrusted with such a personal part of someone’s path.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Throughout my journey, the path to where I am today has been far from smooth. It has been filled with numerous mountains to climb, tough lessons to learn, and countless hours of hard work. However, I wouldn’t trade these experiences for anything, as they have shaped me into the person I am now. The challenges I faced have provided invaluable lessons and imparted the strength to persevere and embrace new opportunities without fear. I owe my current position and unwavering passion for the things I hold dear to the struggles of my past. They have been instrumental in propelling me forward and allowing me to truly appreciate the achievements I have attained.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
My own personal journey with infertility and my passion for helping others to build a family brought me to the Jewish Fertility Foundation. After enduring my own path through infertility and IVF, I feel very strongly about utilizing my own personal experiences for the greater good and putting a purpose to my journey. I have a passion for providing the community with access to alternative options to build a family and supporting those facing infertility through each phase. I hope to raise awareness about and remove the stigma associated with infertility while fostering the support and community I know is vital to this journey.

Jewish Fertility Foundation provides financial assistance, educational awareness, and emotional support to Jewish families who have medical fertility challenges in the communities we serve. Our free support groups and the Fertility Buddy Programs are offered to everyone in the community, regardless of religious association.

JFF also provides financial assistance through grants to help offset the extremely high financial commitments of undergoing fertility treatments. To date, JFF has distributed over 175 financial grants totaling over $1,456,000 to help build families in our communities. We also provide training within our communities to help destigmatize infertility and increase the understanding and support of fertility treatments and their processes.

I am most proud of my ability to create a connection with other individuals and make them feel safe and comfortable in sharing their journey with me and hope that they feel my empathy and compassion always. I am extremely passionate about inclusion for atypical learners and within the autism space as well as breast cancer awareness and helping others to build their families. I feel strongly that my personal journey has created a beautiful path ahead of me helping others and paying it forward.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Throughout my journey to success, several key qualities and characteristics have played instrumental roles in shaping my achievements. My unwavering passion has been the driving force behind my pursuits, propelling me to overcome challenges and strive for excellence. Alongside this, my deep sense of compassion and empathy has allowed me to connect with others on a profound level, fostering meaningful relationships and understanding diverse perspectives.

I firmly believe that a constant desire to learn is crucial for personal and professional growth. Embracing new knowledge and skills has enabled me to adapt to evolving circumstances and seize opportunities for advancement. I refuse to settle for mediocrity, consistently setting high standards for myself and seeking continuous improvement in all aspects of my endeavors.

Fearlessly embracing new experiences has been pivotal in my journey, as it has opened doors to unexplored avenues and allowed me to discover my full potential. Learning from my mistakes has been equally essential, turning setbacks into valuable lessons and pushing me to refine my approach.

Surrounding myself with individuals who challenge and inspire me to reach higher levels has been a strategic choice. These connections have enriched my perspective, encouraged me to push boundaries, and provided a strong support system throughout my endeavors.

These qualities continue to shape my path, driving me towards achieving greater heights and making a positive impact in both my personal and professional spheres.
