Daily Inspiration: Meet Kerry Warren

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kerry Warren

Hi Kerry, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Kerry, I’m 29, hailing from Birmingham, Alabama. I’m the middle child between both parents, and I love creating the impossible. Being in a city like Atlanta, challenged me to grow in ways I did not think possible. I oftentimes thought about packing up and moving back home. However, my heart wouldn’t lead me back to where I was most comfortable. Leaving Birmingham, family, and everything that was familiar, was not an easy task. I remember driving from Huntsville to Atlanta with everything I owned in my car. I couldn’t turn back because I knew that I needed to be in Atlanta.

I saw a need for a space for people to share their stories! More specifically those that looked just like me. On a journey to find a space that was equitable for everyone, I founded the KAMPAIGN. The Kampaign aims to put a spotlight on the businesses and stories of millennial entrepreneurs, celebrating their journeys and accomplishments. By showcasing millennial entrepreneurs’ successes and struggles,

The Kampaign seeks to increase visibility for underserved businesses. Through sharing the stories of millennial entrepreneurs, including their accomplishments and obstacles, The Kampaign hopes to raise the profile of businesses that have been historically overlooked.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest obstacle was breaking into the market! I didn’t feel that I was adequate enough, to help tell the stories of other entrepreneurs. I didn’t know how I would be received, and even if I would have a profitable business. The market saturation deterred my initial Investment in the launch of the business. I would talk myself out of doing everything I had planned. The funny thing is that, the more I talked myself out of the idea, the more God would send people my way. It wasn’t necessarily an obstacle or challenge, I just needed to get out of my own way.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a creative entrepreneur! I love to make something out of nothing. I enjoy creating graphics, as well as, designing and planning events.

What’s next?
I am planning my first podcast version of The KAMPAIGN. I want to visually and audibly convey the story for the masses. I’m also creating The KAMPAIGN events which aims to showcase luxury at any price point.
