Hi Krishana, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Magnolia’s Kiss Lip Candy came about in the midst of an excruciating pandemic of COVID-19 in 2020 during a time where the world came to a halt. Nothing seemed to flourish, but as a budding business of creativity and vision, we began praying in 2019 for ways to establish generational wealth for ourselves, our children, families and others.
A way to be released from poverty and propelled to the ranks of financial freedom, influence of others and to educate those seeking a better life.
Magnolia’s Kiss Lip Candy is only the beginning of an empire that will carry our last name to the end of the world. Seeds have been planted in our children and friends, we’ve shown things they’ll never be able to unsee. A life they not only dream of but a life they can actually live.
We take time to think about our flavors, measurements, essential products, colors and customers. We, at Magnolia’s Kiss Lip Candy, have created products that will not only change how you think but also how you speak.
People must know that once your mind is open to thinking and envisioning something different, your lips will begin to speak something different. We change mindsets starting with the most powerful tool, your lips!!!
We keep lips moisturized for the fluidity of positive outpouring, we keep lips hydrated allowing opportunities to manifest great outcomes and we keep lips exfoliated releasing any negativities that may try to form from words given to or spoken!!!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No!!! The road has not been smooth, but if it were too smooth, we wouldn’t know how to hand rocky roads when presented.
No one in our camp has experience in the beauty industry so there was no blueprint for the road being traveled, however, they were able to add helpful tips and tools to allow the process more manageable.
There are times when we’d like to participate in different events, pop up shops, travel to different conferences to gain exposure for our business and to learn more about branding and building, but when there’s only one income covering the business and household, some things have to wait.
Also, being able to establish ourselves in a market that fully engulfed with awesome product creators, we are still finding our way to our people, our “gold” place.
Even though the road has been a bit bumpy, it’s our first time out the gate and we are proud of the success that we’ve seen this far and excited for the greatness upon us!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My career has consisted of employment agencies and staffing services. I’ve held roles such as: Recruiting Specialist, Front Office Coordinator, Jr. Staffing Consultant, Staffing Consultant, and Senior Employment Specialist. I’ve also held the role of a Workman’s Compensation Rep.
I am currently a Staffing Manager for a Containment, Logistics and Quality company.
We specialize mostly in the Quality realm for Industrial Automotive Manufacturers. I’ve worked with this particular company for nine months and the majority of my days are very rewarding, especially when I’m able to assist others in finding employment that could lead to a very lucrative career path if done correctly, other days, not so much because there are times that I’m not able to help everyone and it’s a mental battle just because I believe everyone deserves a chance to turn their lives around for the advancement and betterment of their lives.
I love what I do in so many ways, helping people discover what their good at, what they want to do or not do, being able to help them provide for their families, pouring into them when I know they feel defeated, allowing them to see a brighter future than what they’ve seen before or are used to. I believe I have the capability and capacity to change lives!!!
What sets me apart is that when I started this journey, I started as additional workforce employee, or as society would say, “temp to hire” associate, but worked my way to the top. I tell my associates that they are capable of doing the exact same thing I did.
