Daily Inspiration: Meet Lala Huseynova

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lala Huseynova.

Hi Lala, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
After working for several years in the health care industry, we realized the lack of preventative care offered to people. In today’s world, instead of working to keep people healthy, we mainly treat people at their sickest. This concept never laid easy with me since it doesn’t allow people to address their root causes and really get to the bottom of what’s really going.

We kept wishing for a place where we could go to maintain our health. What if we had the chance to take care of ourselves before we got sick and prevent all of our discomforts?

Asking ourselves that very question, we decided to open a place for those who want to heal themselves and enjoy a fuller, healthier lifestyle.

Identifying the need for a less clinical setting, we have combined efforts and created a place for all people to come in and take charge of their emotional and physical necessities in a relaxing atmosphere.

At Heal Thyself, we focus our approach on three vital areas: body, mind, and spirit. We believe that a combination of the three can achieve the ultimate well-being we all seek. Our wellness center is a one-stop-shop to help our clients get on track with their health, unwind and feel rejuvenated.

What really sets us apart, however, is that when our clients come in, we don’t simply render services, we provide them with the knowledge they need to create the healthy lifestyle they desire. We always hear our clients talking about how much they learned about themselves and their bodies after just one session of a colonic, massage, or facial. We pass on our knowledge to our clients because we want them to take charge of their well-being and essentially heal themselves.

When a client comes in for a specific service, we don’t stop at simply providing it. We want to learn the root of exactly what brought them to us and how we can help them.

This overall approach towards our business and our clients has allowed us to meet people that have become family. As Atlanta grows and becomes more invested in health and wellness, we look forward to sharing our knowledge, care, and compassion with Atlantans.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
We are moving into a new location near the Edgewood shopping center and running two locations can be a hard thing to juggle but we want to bring health to more people in Atlanta.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Feeling Good – caring for others provides benefits that most people often don’t experience at their day jobs or in life. Feeling loved and building strong relationships is a part of health. I feel that when you care for others it helps to develop empathy and the ability to connect with people, even in difficult times.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
It is important to heal yourself but we can also access our own inner healer so you can heal the world in your own unique way. Just some simple things to integrate into your everyday life: Try not to hold judgment. Practice compassion. Be present. Make eye contact. Practice random acts of kindness. Offer hope.
