Hi Layla, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Layla Milan I’m a 22 y/o Licensed Cosmetologist from Philadelphia, Pa specializing in Lash Extensions in Philadelphia + Atlanta, Ga. Many people may know me as “Layla Milan Lash”. In Philly I’m rated top 5 Lash Artist & im JUST getting started. I’ve been lashing since 2022 & I’m Just ready to expand and go bigger! I’m obsessed with PINK, Pink is always something I’m known by, Pink is like my signature + brand! I’m just a young girl reaching for the moon, sun, & stars & won’t stop until I get it!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This has been one of the most emotional, challenging, confusing, exhausting, yet exciting, & most importantly BLESSED journey I have ever been on. Words wouldn’t even be able to describe the half of what I went through and although it may look good all the time till this DAY still going through, but one thing I live by is “Everything happens for a reason, it’s either a lesson or a blessing” I move with God and trust God so I know I’ll always come out like a CHAMP.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in Lash Extensions & Im known for doing the hottest lashes! 10/10 my work and clients speak for me, I never have to talk! Also known for my lifestyle and fashion outside of the “Lash Life”. My style, class, creativity, etc. A lot of people love the way I dress and have fun with clothes, accessories, hair styles, & more. Honestly, little do people know it’s a way of expressing myself and my vibes. However, Im most proud of honestly how far I’ve came yet still being SO young & Being doubted the most especially by family, friends, & people that I always wanted to make proud. What sets me apart from others is if everybody is on one thing, im on the OPPOSITE. That should say enough.
What matters most to you?
What matter the most to me is making moves that makes the most since and also doing what’s BEST for me! On this journey I’ve learned to stop living for every one else and stop working for every one else. Start to work more for myself & longevity, not just temporary fun. Mindset is also one of most important things to me. Once your mind is set on a certain way of living & thinking, you live so much smoother with your life. Very peaceful.
