Today we’d like to introduce you to Maggie Brady.
Hi Maggie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started my career as a consultant supporting organizations through significant change and transformation. That path led me into HR and leadership development, working inside of organizations to shape and execute talent and culture strategies. I’ve had the opportunity to work in different industries and across Fortune 500, private equity, and venture capital backed companies.
Life, of course, added its own chapters — grief, divorce, career shifts — moments that forced me to rebuild and redefine success on my own terms. Those experiences shaped not only who I am, but how I lead: with compassion, clear boundaries, and a belief that work should support our lives, not consume them.
I feel a deep sense of purpose in helping organizations build strong teams and healthy workplaces —and at this stage of my life, I’m able to bring both business insight and lived experience to the table.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been easy or smooth — but I’ve come to see that as a gift. Some of my hardest seasons — my dad’s death, divorce, career pivots, and unexpected setbacks — forced me to slow down and really examine who I was without the roles and titles.
The biggest lesson has been that resilience isn’t about pushing through at all costs; it’s about knowing when to rest, when to ask for help, and when to choose yourself. Looking back, I wouldn’t call the path smooth, but it’s been deeply formative. The challenges shaped my empathy, clarified my values, and ultimately helped me lead and live with more intention.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I help organizations work better. That means building strong leaders, supporting teams through change, and creating environments where people can do their jobs well without burning out. I spend a lot of time bringing clarity to messy situations — aligning expectations, improving communication, and strengthening trust.
I’m known for being honest and steady, especially in complex moments. I don’t believe in performative culture or buzzwords; I care about whether people feel respected and whether the systems around them actually support success.
What I’m most proud of isn’t a single initiative, but the environments I’ve helped create — places where people feel valued, leaders grow, and business goals are met without sacrificing well-being. What sets me apart is my ability to hold the business reality and the human experience at the same time, and to help others do the same.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
Atlanta has an energy that’s hard to explain until you live here. It’s creative, entrepreneurial, and constantly evolving. You can find world-class dining one night and a tucked-away neighborhood gem the next. There’s room here to grow, to pivot, and to become.
If I had to name a challenge, it’s the sprawl and the traffic! The sprawl means everything is “20 minutes away”– until you get in the car.
