Today we’d like to introduce you to Mark Williams.

Hi Mark, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Hi. My name is Chef Mark Adrian. I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Chef Mark first found his inspiration and love for cooking at home from my parents, who both had professional culinary careers.

As the youngest child of five, I often found myself, left to his own devices, cooking and experimenting in my home kitchen.

This is where he discovered his passion and love for cooking. With that passion, I pursued opportunities at various restaurants. I now boast a successful culinary career, as the Executive Chef at several Atlanta restaurants, and a thriving catering and meal prep business with satisfied customers throughout the Metro Atlanta area. I started this business because he wanted to show his community that you could still eat healthy while having great-tasting meals.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My career as a chef has never been smooth or easy. Trying to balance work and family has always been very difficult for me. I’ve missed so many family functions and Holidays due to my work schedule. This was the main reason I started my meal prep and catering business. Which lead me to leaving my employer recently and venturing off to run my own business full time.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am an artist when it comes to creating most of my dishes. This is something I love to do and it also brings me peace. I specialize in creating and making healthy dishes flavorful. Most people know me from my pastas, soups, and grilled wings. I am so proud that I was able to start my own business, peruse and grow my business full time. My work and artistry with preparing my meals is what sets me apart.

How do you define success?
My success is defined by the free time I have to spend with my loved ones. The more time I have the more successful I must be. Time is the most valuable to me.
