Hi Merci, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I created MVM beauty after realizing as a makeup artist that creating beautiful looks on others seemed to raise not only confidence but also their energy. I wanted to create a makeup company that could help people to feel and look amazing because when you look good, you feel good! I initially started out as a model in the industry when I was also dealing with my own confidence issues. I decided to stop modeling to become a makeup artist for the models behind the scene as makeup and art has always been a passion of mine. Now that I have overcome my own fears my confidence is better than ever, and I love being of service to others through the power of beauty.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As everything in life, nothing is smooth, but I welcome the obstacles. I view them as stepping stones only to learn from and do better in the future. One of the struggles I had to face as a new entrepreneur is learning the methods of business. I work really hard to be sure our products are perfect as possible for those who believe in us. I also educate myself continuously on marketing our products effectively so that we can reach the hearts and hands of our customers. We never had a bad review as of yet so I appreciate all of the obstacles because it helps to make M.V.M beauty a better and stronger brand.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am the C.E.O of M.V.M beauty. I specialize in making sure the company runs smoothly and effectively. What I am most proud of is being able to help others feel beautiful from the inside out by the message our company portrays to the gorgeous products we provide. What sets us apart from other beauty brands is my story. Everyone has a unique individual story. I put everything I learned, and went through internally through the years into this brand in hopes to change people’s lives in a positive way.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
In 5 to 10 years I see M.V.M beauty in major retail stores such as Sephora, and Macys. I hope that others will love and appreciate the brand worldwide. The more hearts we can connect with the better. We are always coming out with new amazing products, and I can not wait for what the future holds. Stay Tuned!!
