Daily Inspiration: Meet Nader Bakier

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nader Bakier.

Hi Nader, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Well, I have been making music for several years now .. I am a multi genre music producer and I make music based on whatever inspires me in life and/or from my own personal experience in life. Music for me started at a young age and as a personal creative outlet, a way for me to process ideas and emotions through sound, visuals, and storytelling. I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of music, fashion, and identity. I began by producing tracks in my bedroom, experimenting with textures and rhythms that felt cinematic but raw. Over time, that evolved into what it is that I do today “music production”

Each project I put out—whether it’s a song like “Mechanic Shop” or a fashion related dance track—has been a stepping stone. I didn’t follow a traditional path; it’s been more about staying true to my own emotions and self expression, even when it didn’t fit the mold. Collaborating with other underground artists, taking DIY approaches, and leaning into authenticity have all helped grow my projects into something with a real voice and a growing online community around it.

Now, “Nadergator” (my brand and my stage name) represents more than just me—it’s a universe where music, visuals and sometimes fashion, all tell part of the same story. And I’m still building it, one piece at a time.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not a smooth road—but I think that’s part of what makes the journey real. Building “Nadergator” has meant doing a lot with very little—limited resources, no big team, no industry handouts. I’ve had to teach myself everything from music production to video editing to managing fashion drops. There were moments when I doubted whether it was even possible to bring this vision to life the way I saw it in my head.

One of the biggest challenges has been staying true to my creative voice in a world that constantly pushes for trends and quick wins. Sometimes that means saying no to things that might get attention fast, just to protect the integrity of the work. Balancing creativity with sustainability—mentally, emotionally, and financially—has been a lesson in itself.

But every challenge shaped the identity of “Nadergator”. The limitations forced me to be resourceful, and the setbacks taught me how to keep moving even when no one’s watching. It’s been rough at times, but I wouldn’t trade it for a smoother path. The struggle is part of the art.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m mainly a music producer. I specializes in creating multi-genre music, including pop-rock, instrumental, and EDM tracks. I have been producing music for over 15 years now, drawing inspiration from daily life and personal experiences to craft relatable songs. I currently publish my music through ByteDance (through a contracted publishing deal) that has a significant following on platforms like TikTok, where my tracks have been used in over 15 million videos and still growing! I love when people use my tracks in their TikTok videos, sometimes it’s even more inspiring for me to watch their content being married to my songs and it gives me even more creative insights for my next track or musical idea – it gives me joy!

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Well, I do collaborate with many other people in the industry .. some are close friends and others are acquaintances. Niko Kotoulas has been a very resourceful pianist/music producer that I collaborate with sometimes, The folks at CymaticsFM, ProducerGrind, Keilwerth Audio and the folks at Refx Audio , are also great people that I have collaborated with or shared resources – one way or another.

Another project I was just involved in recently with BJSAM_MUSIC, is a music video we are still finishing. The project is an uplifting song in Afro-beats style involving many wonderful artists from all over the world (12 or more) to promote positive vibes and a global initiative which entails blending voices and instruments from different continents in harmony to raise awareness about anti-suicide and mental health with actors/celebrities to complement the visual.
