Today we’d like to introduce you to Pam Jones.
Hi Pam, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
As luxury wedding photographers we have worked at some of the most extravagant wedding venues in the Atlanta area. But our humble beginnings were backyard and small church weddings. As much as we love shooting high-end events, we knew there was a niche of chill couples who didn’t need all of the stress of a big wedding but still wanted a beautiful experience and amazing photos. So, we decided to offer Pop-Up weddings, some call it micro weddings or elopements.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Planning Pop-Up weddings wasn’t difficult for us because we’ve been in the wedding business for over 17 years. Having worked on hundreds of events, we know what goes into making a wedding successful and beautiful! Probably the most difficult yet most fun part of planning a Pop Up wedding is finding a location! We love getting creative and trying to find a place that isn’t a typical wedding venue. There’s plenty of those to go around in the traditional sense. Finding a unique and photogenic location is the key to attract the kind of couples who want a low-key yet beautiful wedding ceremony and gorgeous photos!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
