Hi Precious, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started my wig because when I had a condition called “Areata Alopecia” it’s a condition caused by stress and you have bald spot on your head. At that moment, I started wearing wigs; during the process, I realized I wasn’t the only one with this condition, and then I researched and started selling wigs. At the time, human hair wigs weren’t as popular, so I started with synthetic wigs. Fast forward. Now, Wigs are the new thing, and I am pleased to offer high-end wigs to all women medically, Fashion, or just because.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has never been a smooth road even till this day. The struggles of the beauty industry, or should I say the wig industry, is finding a good vendor with great quality wigs that speak to your brand. Finding the right space to carry your business. For me was a great vendor. I didn’t want volume; I wanted quality.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a wig specialist and a stylist, I have been in the wig industry for about eight years now. I am very known for wigs, installing, and selling. I am mostly proud of myself one for never giving up, I always believe that you only fail if you don’t try. In this industry, as they say it is very saturated, especially in Atlanta, where I reside, but for me, what sets me aside is my customer service and the way I approach my services with my wigs. My clients can testify.
What are your plans for the future?
I have learned a lot on my journey as a wig stylist. I have gone from a studio space to a brick and Morgan building those where lessons learnt. My future plans are just to provide quality wigs and improve my techniques of installing. In the future, I would love to just sell wigs to clients around the world. Am looking forward to invest more in my wigs and also one day be a Luxury home realtor.
