Ra, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
As a part of the LGBTQ community, I’ve dealt with judgement all my life. That doesn’t take away from the hardcore hip hop/rap artist that I am. I’ve created a found passion for music and creative arts. With my darling lyrics, bold fashion sense and the attitude to match. I’ve I am proud to be Ra Blanco!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There are so many obstacles on a day-to-day when it comes to being an artist from bad deals to shady business people and just maintaining a lifestyle while building a lifestyle as an artist. In my professional life of healthcare as a manager, I have to make sure that I’ll maintain a certain level of ethics just to turn around and head home to my child in which I have to be the best figure in life for my children. With that all being said, I find it extremely important to stay grounded and keep God first because without faith, nothing will work and that’s just my opinion. A lot of times my professional careers mixes with my personal and my artistry, but I juggle them all and continue to push through.

A surprising fact that people may not know is that I’m my father of 2 kids, Real Estate Agent and maintain my professional career in healthcare over the last 9 years
