Daily Inspiration: Meet Rachel Hazzard

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachel Hazzard

Hi Rachel, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve always known that entrepreneurship was my path. I started young, selling lashes and hair, then moved into clothing and launched my boutique. Like any business journey, there were plenty of ups and downs, but I stayed committed and eventually took the leap to focus on my boutique full-time. From there, I knew I wanted to expand and create multiple streams of income, which led me to start my virtual call center. Being able to help people find employment was rewarding, and it naturally pushed me toward helping people in other financial areas—like credit repair and taxes. Now, I run multiple businesses and continue to grow, always looking for ways to help others build wealth and create financial freedom.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not! The road has been anything but smooth. I’ve faced setbacks like not having enough funds to get started, battling self-doubt and fear, and even struggling with procrastination and staying focused at times. One of the biggest challenges was losing my business pages. Having to start over from scratch was a huge blow, and I honestly wanted to give up. But I had already seen the potential in what I was building, and I knew I couldn’t let that stop me. It took a serious mindset shift to push through, but once I got in that mode there was no turning back.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a serial entrepreneur with multiple businesses, but my focus is on helping people achieve financial freedom and business success. I own a boutique, a virtual call center, a credit repair and tax preparation business. I also run the Rich Girl Mindset Learning Academy, where I mentor and educate aspiring entrepreneurs on building and scaling their businesses.

What sets me apart is my hands-on approach! I don’t just give people information; I give them real strategies and guidance to execute. I’ve been through the challenges of starting and growing businesses, so I teach from experience, not just theory. I took my drop shipping boutique from barely doing $20k years to doing $20k+ months and I’m sharing everything that helped me in my mentorship.

One of the things I’m most proud of is being able to create opportunities for others, whether it’s through employment, financial education, or mentorship. Seeing people I’ve helped take control of their finances, start their own businesses, or just feel more empowered in their journey that’s why I love what I do.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Finding the right mentor is about seeking someone who aligns with your goals and values. Look for people who are where you want to be and invest in learning from them, whether through mentorship programs, courses, or networking events. For networking, putting yourself in the right rooms is key! Attend industry events, join online communities, and don’t be afraid to reach out. Building real relationships, not just connections, has worked best for me.
