Daily Inspiration: Meet Ramon Camp

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ramon Camp.

Hi Ramon, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I initially started doing photography as a hobby just like everyone probably started. I traveled around with some pretty cool people doing some pretty cool things and thought, “nobody would believe I was doing this”. This thought prompted me to buy a camera. Not knowing anything about cameras.. that’s where the journey began.

With Gods timing and plenty of prayers, my hobby started to become a business. I began taking lifestyle photos for an established broker in Atlanta that found me on Instagram. The first shoot I ever did was actually a paid shoot. I say this to say, if you put in the work and time to learn your skill, do not be afraid to charge for your time and knowledge.

After that shoot I began to really have confidence that maybe I could make something of this. To make a long story short, I made mistakes, learned new skills, and made self investments. I built a team and surrounded myself with like minded individuals and most importantly believed in God. Here we are 8 years later chasing the dream!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Honestly it has been smooth sailing for me. I mean has it been obstacles? Of course! But I believe anything worth having, isn’t going to come easy. So where you see an obstacle, I see an opportunity.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in real estate media and weddings. What sets me apart from all the other media teams is my personality. I truly have a relationship with every client I work with. I am intentional about the people I work with and I think that aligns with my growth. My business will continue to grow as my clients/friends continue to grow.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
My family. They are who I do it for. To be able to be make them smile and proud is all I could ever ask for.
