Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Little.
Hi Ryan, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Growing up, I’ve always had a hustle mentality to do what needed to be done to obtain what I wanted. I started out as a young teen cutting grass, shovelings snow, and even sweeping at the local neighborhood barbershop which sparked my ambition to be self-sufficient. Growing up in my neighborhood, I seen a lot of great people with potential that were not given many chances and always wanted to be able to help my community so after high school, I decided to go to college for business to be able to create businesses and positions.Moving forward into 2019 during the Covid epidemic due to the indoor mandate and the huge loss of jobs, I decided to take a chance on myself and open my first business.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth role at all however I am grateful for all the experiences I’ve been through and gained wisdom from. It’s really true what it said about being successful “it does not happen overnight”. This has been a life journey of work from adolescence up until the present day. I decided I wanted to be great and never taken my eye off the ball through it all.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
So a little more about me is that I’m a father, artist and entrepreneur. I love being a father and it has been a huge motivation for my current business mindset to leave a legacy and break generational curses. Wanting to own a business and be my own boss pointed me in the business of investing and what better than to invest in myself. During the pandemic in 2019, I had taken a lump sum of money that I was saving and started a landscaping business and a recording studio. It allows me to support myself with my own business and my music career as well.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I believe the best quality I’ve been able to refine is to turn something negative into a positive. It really helps through conflicting moments for me to focus on my goals and it’ll make whatever you going through seem like it’s not even a problem anymore. Being able to adapt and let go of things also helps as well, letting go of things allowed me to be open to new opportunities.
