Daily Inspiration: Meet Samone Sutton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samone Sutton.

Hi Samone, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started teaching dance and fitness classes around 2018. I wanted to bring the crunk and fun environment to Kennesaw area. I felt like Atlanta had every thing fun regarding dance classes and fitness. So, I decided to bring that love and energy to the Kennesaw, Marietta area.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road at all! I would say the struggles mostly came from visibility to my business and services. When a small fraction of the masses knows that your business exist, it’s difficult to get more eyes on what you do. And last, I would say my confidence was a struggle as well. One thing that help me gain more confidence was by teaching more classes and building a community that is loving and want the best for each other.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I teach dance fitness and line dance classes in the Kennesaw and Marietta area. I specialize in dance. I been dancing all my life. I tell everyone that I been dancing every since I been in my moma womb lol. One thing that make me proud is to see the smiles and joy on the participants faces when they are in or leaving my classes. What sets me apart from other instructors is my love and my passion for teaching and my love for dance and community building.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson along the way is to trust in my self and believe in the process.
