Today we’d like to introduce you to Schneider Alexis
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
¨Through all the chaos, troubles, dangers, and madness in the world and in life that we face God is still with us, painting a beautiful picture even through the KAOS”(Brand statement). I created Kaos Klothing because it is one of my dreams to have a thriving clothing line that can provide the Gospel to people in a unique way. As a black man in America and a broken world I experience and see a lot of injustices, hurt, pain, corruption, and more, but through it all I can stand confident because through all the chaos God is with me. Kaos Klothing is about bringing smooth streetwear for all nationwide (one day worldwide) while providing them with a little bit of the Gospel through my unique art styles and stories.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been the smoothest road. Creating and maintaining a clothing line often takes a lot of financial risk. I’ve went through situations where I’ve received products that were not as described and had to take the financial hit and be setback on release of a product. Its been filled with ups and downs but it’s been something I’m grateful for to learn from.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I work fulltime in Youth Ministry. I have been working at Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Atlanta for the past 3 years. I have a big passion of walking alongside the next generation throughout their faith journey and helping provide the Gospel to students. My passion for youth ministry has been a big part of why I created Kaos Klothing. My love for fashion and bringing the Gospel to the youth conjoined together brought me to bring a brand that speaks truth through outerware.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
My fiance has been a big support of my brand. She has filled many roles for my brand such as model, photographer, employee, promoter, and more. It has been a blessing having her support me through my journey. Furthermore, my mom and my siblings has been a big supporter for my life. I grew up in a Haitian single parent household and was uplifted by my mom and my siblings. One last person who has been a huge impact on my success is my youth pastor. He has been there for me since I was about 15 and was a huge influence on me entering the ministry field.
