Hi Sydney, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I always had the love for fashion. I would always get compliments and questions about my wardrobe. My family and friends would always tell me I should sell clothes, even though I always knew I wanted to have my own business one day in apparel. However, I wanted a brand that would be unique and bigger than me. So with me being a creative director, I literally was standing in my closet and looking at all my clothes. I said to myself this is the time to start my business.
Later that night I came up with my brand “You Look Bomb” concept. I mean everything the name, logo and vision. I knew exactly what I wanted. I immediately took action and got to work.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Yes, it’s been a smooth road but of course with it being a smooth road. I been consistent with getting my brand out there since I went live online.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Besides me being an entrepreneur, I’m a creative director as well. I see visions and put them to life. Therefore, I’m hands on with everything regarding my business. I believe that’s what sets me apart from others. My ambition to succeed and to conquer my goals immediately.
What are your plans for the future?
I look forward opening You Look Bomb 2000 sq ft showroom next month.
