Today we’d like to introduce you to Tamarie Tee.
Tamarie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Well, it all started from the Cosmos and I landed in Chicago (Englewood). My introduction to music came from my Grandma different music we listened to just stuck with me. I got introduced to James Brown and many other greats from there, I knew & felt in my heart it was meant for me to do music which led me to the path I am on now. Currently residing in New Orleans & still working with my band Tamarie T & Thee & Elektra Kumpany. We create bigger productions and experiences for our audiences internationally.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, I faced challenges along the way musically with me standing out & creating my own lane & balancing a big band.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am known for creating this eclectic sound and putting on memorizing performances for everyone around the world. I am proud of being able to share my gifts & wisdom without limits.
Me being myself is what sets me apart from others; most people don’t get the opportunity to do that anymore.
What makes you happy?
What makes me happy is living an authentic life and creating my reality.
