Today we’d like to introduce you to Tarae Wilborn.
Hi tarae , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My Lash journey began with my mom and aunt conversing which lead to my aunt offering to teach me lash extensions. I had to fly all the way from O’fallon, IL to huntsville. After the class, I wasn’t as consistent as I should have been but I was always lead back to the skill. Come July of 2021, I moved to AL to do lashes fully and go to school. From there my lash business took off! I really built a name for myself being and school and being fully booked month to month was such a blessing. I took a break late last year in 2024 however, even though I thought i was done with lashing God had other plans. Now in 2025, I am back lashing and just trying to be better than before!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There has been many struggles, from dealing with retention issues, slow seasons, being burnt out, and just wanting to give up on landing as a whole!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a lash artist that loves to enhance the natural beauty of every client i come in contact with! I am most proud of myself and how even tho i took some time off i didn’t give up. What sets me apart is how versatile i can be. I can do a dramatic set, a really natural set, i love doing all type of style for my clients
What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory would have to be being with my families on 4th of july and seeing the fireworks
