Daily Inspiration: Meet Tiffany Francis, MSHS

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mrs. Tiffany Francis, MSHS.

Hi Tiffany, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Hi there, I’m Coach Tiff, I’ve worked in the field of proprietary education and nonprofit leadership for over a decade. I’m a LIFE-work balance enthusiast, and when I’m not seeing clients you can catch me in the kitchen cooking something delicious with my hubby while dancing to the tune of our own beat!

In January 2022, I had a dream of a painless child-birthing labor with little to no medical staff or family support. In hindsight, I should’ve known I was dreaming because I have 3 amazing children, and each experience was significantly painful. During my dream, I purchased several essential items to prepare for the delivery however, upon waking up, I soon realized the dream signified my subconscious thoughts of opening my own business.

After several suggestions & lots of encouragement, I took my mom’s advice & named my company Career Values Coaching & Consulting firm. April 4, 2022, was my grand opening and I virtually opened doors to serve clients near & far.

I’m on the trajectory of revolutionizing balance in the workplace. My target audience is primarily millennials & Gen Z’ers, I love that I’m old enough to have several years of professional work experience while being an advocate for the young voices of a new generation.

My teachings consist of self-care & self-actualization coaching techniques. I’m extremely solution driven & I enjoy finding new ways to normalize stereotypes of being a parent, student, or professional, while harmoniously setting goals without burnout.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Throughout my life, I dealt with different stages of adversity, from being raised by a single parent to conquering a speech impediment and receiving my early education in South Georgia. It was evident that my upbringing had no prominent access to building confidence or autonomy within the African-American community.

Additionally, at the age of 16, I survived sexual assault, resulting in the birth of my beautiful daughter. In 2008 I met my husband and we exchanged vows in 2011, adding two boys to our tribe which completes our family.

After pursuing college and examining my years of being an educator & nonprofit leader, I noticed I’ve always been passionate about motivating students toward their educational career goals. I’ve had the humbling opportunity of successfully leading by example through utilizing my own experiences as corrective measures to expand my student’s knowledge as they simultaneously inspired me in return.

While I’ve had my fair share of obstacles along the way, I must give credit to my village! I appreciate my mommy, brother, husband, 3 beautiful children, friends, cousins, aunties, uncles, grandparents, ancestors, mentors, therapist, hairstylist, photographer & my Life Coach for motivating me to always press the “submit” button & above all I thank God that I’m here today! It’s up from here y’all!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
As an educator, I acquired several milestones within the past year. I’ve networked with top industry professionals & coached over 100 students within the past 6 months, I’ve also partnered with fortune 500 companies such as Home Depot, Delta, UPS, and community civic organizations while providing professional development curricula through my partnerships with nonprofit organizations. Utilizing the skills I’ve gained allows me to assist clients with their path toward achieving success. More importantly, the outcome of witnessing my clients reach their optimal potential by transitioning into full-time employment is truly rewarding.

One quote that my client stated still resonates with me, she said: “Mrs. Tiffany you are teaching me to be a palm tree, when troubled winds come my way I might bend but I won’t BREAK!” Those words still stick with me to this day.

Additionally, my coaching services consist of self-branding, marketing, résumé writing, confidence building, mock interviews, entrepreneurial leadership classes, and office technology training contracted through Microsoft Office.

I love building long-lasting networking relationships and I’m a natural people connector, another one of my personal notable moments from 2022 was coaching my daughter into the fashion industry, with great persistence and consistency, she signed her first contract in October of 2022, and she has started booking clients while continuing her junior year as a STEM major in college.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
My perception of happiness is having the ability to cultivate a space for catharsis transformation. Additionally, happiness is living in a world that has access to professional development and educational resources for underserved populations to transition into a sustainable career choice of their dreams that creates generational wealth.

I also believe happiness is a state of mind, which means you can be passionate about what you love without sacrificing your self-worth or compromising your role as an individual.

As an elder once told me, “true happiness is within the eye of the beholder”, my takeaway from that statement is you shouldn’t focus on someone else’s projected version of happiness, find true happiness for yourself & embrace it forever!
