Today we’d like to introduce you to Trap Dinero.
Hi Trap, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve been hustling my entire life. I started off by selling candy in middle school, lol! Nawh but tbh I was doing music, drawing, throwing Party’s, modeling you name it we’ve done it ALL. A part of me always dared to be different. I started the brand a little before (2016). We ended up launching “Black Friday 2016” in Charlotte, NC. I opened my 1st Shop called 448 Blvd Local Brand & Print Shop. Where we offered to help build local brands in the community & not to mention home of Safe Plays Only Apparel and a few other local brands. In (2018) my world was shook a little and it lead me to relocating everything including the business to Atlanta, GA!
A few months after being in GA, I was introduced to Kissworks Studios one of the #1 production studios in Atlanta. Were multiple things was offered including my brand (SPO) as well as my printing services. Atl did not make it easy for me, lol. Everyone runs to Atlanta bc it’s the hub they feel like. Until the work ethic spoke up or should I say woke up. I met and worked with multiple celebrities. I label myself the coat goat my 2019 Puffers changed the game a little. The Brand only got more and more exposure. Shortly after Covid, we closed our Atlanta location and relocated to Cali in 2020 to expand and build. In which we are a little over a year and counting, the brand is my baby so it gets treated as. This year we done too much to name our biggest accomplishment was going into a few stores that’s Big in my hometown (Soho CLT, Denimation CLT, & Supreme Clientele CLT) Blac Youngsta released his latest video (I’m Assuming) in our Szn20 All Red Bubble Trench Collection. As you can see, it sounds and looks like overnight success but blood, sweat and tears has been put in this journey! Were it’s still the beginning of a very long Destination. But if I don’t know anything with God All Things Are Possible, but You have to have a plan and “Work” he’s there to enlarge it. The marathon continues as long as I’m running. Heard!!!!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Rome wasn’t built in a day. I’d be lying if I said that, lol. Life has its ups and downs just like a roller coaster! I’ve lost family & friends that’s living and dead. Tons of money. Not having the correct knowledge or information to understanding my new career path, in which I had no college experience, loans, or Major Co-signs! So yeah, we would be here all day, lol. But I always find a way to manage and balance myself. I’ve learned that the thorns grow with the trees. Everything cant be ALL Good Always. If you recognize that and find peace when you’re off track and recognize the power of never giving up is bigger than that deeper feeling. You cannot STOP consistency is the key that opens doors.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Some people may know me as Trap Dinero from making music bc I did that for a while. I chilled out on my personal music in 2019. I started pushing more of the Brand and managing artists. I make clothes! As well as style celebrities. I will always be into entertainment. My designs aren’t just a logo on a shirt or coat. My color schemes and trendy ideas make us stand out from a lot of other brands. We are also very exclusive kind of like supreme in its prime!
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My number 1 source was higher power shoutout to Big God! I’ve had a mentor/friend who is a female CEO herself Cee Smith is a serial entrepreneur. She knows a lot in business in which she pour into others. I got all the drip from Mrs. Cynthia, that’s mom’s dukes, my stepfather was the 1st person I knew with millions shout-out to Leon Lion, My entire team really the ones who matter knows and the ones who no longer do. Last Jelan Adams helped me with a lot along the way. I could never forget when it was just US when everyone went left.
