Today we’d like to introduce you to Travial McCall.
Hi Travial, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I got my start in real estate through property management as a leasing consultant back in 2015. Ever since I was a kid I would adore accompanying my grandmother to run her business errands while discussing numbers on the phone with her appraiser or lender. I would hear them discussing HUGE figures and assessing risks when it came to investment properties she was considering acquiring. Seeing her in action while sitting in the passenger seat of her 2000 Black Lincoln Navigator is what inspired me to get in the real estate industry. Since the start of my real estate career I have elevated and grown in ways unimaginable. I went from managing a garden-style 1-bedroom apartment community in Fayetteville, NC to managing and operating my first boutique brokerage “Blonde Real Estate” out of Atlanta, GA.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nothing about the Real Estate sales industry is considered a smooth road lol. You’re CONSTANTLY managing clients expectations all while bargaining to get them the best deal possible. Not to mention being their therapist because you have to deal with their emotions as well. Positive or negative outcome, everything falls upon our shoulders. Deal falls through? It’s our fault! Too knowledgeable and insightful about the process? You’re discouraging and scaring the client from going through with the closing. IT’S A LOT. If you see a realtor, give them a hug lmao.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a real estate broker based in Georgia, and I’m a licensed real estate salesperson for the State of New York. I’m responsible for assisting buyers, renters, and sellers in the negotiation and financing when it comes to purchasing, renting, and selling residential and commercial property. Being in this business, it has taught me so much about the importance of establishing a foundation that allows you to tailor your life to your own liking. It’s made me a BEAST and it has taught me an immense amount of patience. I don’t shy away from going above and beyond for my clients; because of this I have been able to embark on a career that has been very rewarding. My clients TRUST me. That’s always important.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I love the social scene of Atlanta. Literally most people that come to this city has grandeur aspirations.
What I like the least about Atlanta is the freaking TRAFFIC. Riding 75 North during mid-day hours? Forget about it smh
