Exploring Life & Business with Kimmie Love of GOLDEN KEE

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kimmie Love.

Hi Kimmie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
The creation story of Kimmie Love, I’m a Georgia girl born and raised in the amazing city of Augusta. My real name is Kimberly Elam, but my clients and most of my friends know me as Kimmie, and I’m a personal assistant, spiritual practitioner and astrology reader among many other things. I am also an Army veteran, have two college degrees, my most recent being a MBA from the Terry College of Business at UGA, and have been living in Atlanta for eight to nine years now. I never imagined at the age of 31 I would be working for myself and just this March became a new home owner, but I also have accomplished so much in such a short time that I’ve learned life will take you to many places and allow you to experience more than you can imagine if you just follow your dreams and passion. I began my journey as an entrepreneur in 2018 after finding my mentor Emme Rain, whom I also work for as her personal assistant. Her story and passion for her work motivated me and I knew that I wanted to step out into the world and make a name for myself. She, as well as my family and friends, encouraged and provided me with the stepping stones, wisdom and self confidence needed to know I could be just like her and more. I had begun my own self-discovery journey the prior year and was divinely guided to meet, and within less than a years’ time, become the personal assistant to a beautiful self-made multi millionaire who was just starting her own tv show in Monroe, LA.

The same month I became her apprentice I had also just been accepted into the UGA master’s program for Business Administration and things grew from there. I was a year into my spiritual awakening, I was studying everything, business, herbs, mysticism, universal laws, astrology and the list goes on. I’m a nerd honestly and my spiritual journey transformed my life, and taught me to create the life I wanted to live. Through meditation and other practices I began to learn and develop my skills and abilities. I was working a full-time job and was in a relationship until March of 2019. Little to my knowledge my ex had been cheating, and just seven days before my 30th birthday, he had moved out while I was at work. Blessing in disguise I guess you could say now. Two weeks later I became aware of the unfair and mistreatment my then manager had been doing in regards to me and my pay and I was over everything and needed a new start. I quit my job that April with nothing lined up and just a knowing that all things would work out how they should. I saw it all as a test of my faith from the universe to see if I was truly living and learning the lessons, and listening to the divine guidance I was receiving. Three weeks later my mentor was holding her annual expo here in Atlanta and the day after, to my surprise, asked me how I felt about becoming her personal assistant. It was the first time I had ever cried tears of happiness and felt my ancestors holding me and supporting me. I had begun creating my business as soon as I started school while I was working full-time and pieced things together from the name, and logo first. Becoming a personal assistant allowed me the time I needed to dedicate myself to my business Golden KEE. I chose to spell key K.E.E because those are my initials and I wanted my business to be a reflection of me, GOLDEN, I started off doing readings, then creating products and services like intentions oils and some other work for friends and new clients while getting to travel the country with my mentor and not miss any school work. I created my own website and was manifesting everything I needed.

With a lot of self determination, strong faith and guidance, and support from my family and friends I have been able to not only improve my life and manifest better for myself, but I now get to educate and help others who are like me, whether they are on a spiritual journey, self-discovery, or beginning their own business through my work. It’s been only two years and my business has grown tremendously in so many ways.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Golden KEE’s mission is to provide tools and services that empower any and everyone no matter their background . Golden KEE is focused around individual empowerment and sovereignty and I do this through creating a variety of services from readings, mentor/coaching sessions and products such as intention oils, candles, and more. I would say that I am most known for my astrology readings and ritual work. I have been told by many of my clients that the energy I push during my rituals is so strong they feel it as soon as I start. I would say my specialty would be charging and pushing energy as well as strong intention into my products. The thing that sets me apart from any other workers like myself is the genuine passion I have for creating my products and the time I put into developing them and my services/readings. I am a very detail-oriented person so I will look up herbs, sigils, essential oils and study all I can to put in as much energy into my creations.

I was blessed to have some friends who made candles and taught me the basics. With the extra help from YouTube, I launched my latest and fastest growing product line of intention/dressed candles and now offer private label for other businesses. Golden Kee offers a variety of services from again Private Label candles for businesses, but also business and personal coachings/readings with my most popular bookings being astrology. I love each and every moment of what I do. I am living a purpose filled life and meeting so many amazing souls in the process. I found my passion and I want to show others that they can accomplish anything no matter what walk of life you may have come from. The fulfillment I get when I receive reviews from customers after a purchase, or a client during their sessions is proof enough for me that this is what I was meant to do.

My candles are a vibe and shift the energy in rooms, each type holds a vibration that matches the intention which assists in achieving the set goal. As for my readings, there is no other me. I put time into myself and connecting to source, the universe, or whatever you may like to call it, to stay grounded but also be able to receive the messages needed for each client who books a reading with me. I not only “read” my clients, I like to educate them and open their perspective to all the known and unknown possibilities that come through for them. The one thing others should know is that the products and services from Golden KEE are created from purpose driven intentions and I put my heart and soul into everything I do. I believe that knowledge is one of the many keys to power and connecting to the god-self. I’m genuine and it reflects through my energy and my clients and customers recognize that. I’m always grateful and honored for each of them for who they are. I’m an embodiment of love and want to do my part to raise the vibration of all those I reach in any form. I’m proud of the difference I have been able to make in the lives of those who have cross paths with me since creating Golden KEE. My astrology readings and intention candles are my most popular and have helped clients with loving themselves more, increase their energy, and manifest unexpected money and opportunities. My brand is constantly growing and I’m creating every day.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I believe that great success comes from taking risks. I have been taking risks all my life and never failed. It’s uncomfortable at times and can be scary but taking the risk of leaving a full-time job with no plan landed me where I am today. When we take risks we face fear and change the story of what could be to what is. I personally like to say when it comes to fight or flight I’m always going to fight because when you take flight you always take the “L” and that’s not a risk that’s a guarantee. You determine if the “L” is a Lose or a Lesson.
