What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was quite the adventurous spirit, always seeking out new experiences and challenges. My early years were filled with a variety of activities that shaped who I am today. I played the tuba in the school band, which not only instilled a love for music but also taught me the importance of teamwork and discipline. My mom enrolled me in Taekwondo, where I learned the value of perseverance and respect, while also developing my physical abilities. Additionally, being part of the Boy Scouts provided me with opportunities for leadership, community service, and outdoor adventures that fostered a sense of responsibility and teamwork.
My family, especially my late mom and dad, played a crucial role in supporting my pursuits. They encouraged me to explore my interests and instilled in me the importance of faith and community involvement. Being very involved with our church provided additional opportunities for growth, as I learned the importance of helping others and giving back to the community.
While I had a knack for being a bit of a class clown, always looking to make my friends laugh, I also had a deep desire to make a difference. I found joy in uplifting others and creating a positive atmosphere around me. This blend of humor and adventure, coupled with the lessons I learned from my various activities, helped shape my character and instilled in me the values of commitment, courage, and compassion.
