Hi Alicia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am a Former Educator turned Multi 6 Figure Earner empowering women through fashionable, affordable accessories.
As a lover of all things fashion and empowering women, In 2015, a networking marketing/direct sales opportunity presented itself to me that included both and this was the start of an amazing journey!
In 2015, I was the Director of Faculty Management & Development at a post-secondary institution in Atlanta, GA. With growing demands and increased responsibilities and more time away from my family… it was time for something different. After building my business for two years, I was able to walk away from a 15 year career in education and become a successful full-time entrepreneur. I believed I could, so I did.
In 2016, I made history by becoming the FIRST African American Elite Leader within the grounded breaking company. Additionally, having a Signature necklace “The Alicia” named in my honor. For the past five years, I have been recognized as a 6 Figure Earner Bling Boss.
Stepping out on faith and doing something non-traditional afforded me the “time freedom” to walk in my purpose, more time to create memories with my husband and three children, and experience life more abundantly. I currently lead/coach a team of over 100,000 men and women sharing hope and empowering them to greatness.
Although, I’m no longer in the field of education. I will always be an educator at heart. My classroom/office just looks a little bit different, I am now blessed to impact thousands of lives globally.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it has not always been easy, I have faced many challenges along the way. When I chose to walk away from my career, I encountered many dream-busters and nay-sayers who couldn’t understand why I walked away from what they thought was a “secure” job or career. I over time realized that I should not expect others to understand my grind, when God did not give them MY vision. My business was looked down upon for many reasons, one reason in particular being the low price point. I was told it was cheap and not of quality and would not experience long-term success. However, I have exceeded their expectations over the last seven years.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
The fashion accessories industry will forever be a booming industry. “I don’t like affordable, fashion-forward accessories”, said no one ever! With the inflation of almost everything, the price point is what sets us apart from the rest. This industry will continue to evolve for years to come as the new trends arise.
