Today we’d like to introduce you to Allison B.

Hi Allison, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started Ever After Bridal Atlanta because I worked in the bridal industry here in Atlanta. While working in the bridal industry, I met several brides that wanted me to style them for the big day. After experiencing private styling, I knew I had a hidden passion and I was ready to show others. I received numerous phone calls about privately styling brides. I was nervous about showcasing my talents to others because I was worried about the perception. However, one thing I know for certain is that when you combine faith with creativity the sky is the limit.

Ever After Bridal Atlanta Launched in March 2021 and honestly, the brand took off pretty fast. I was actually shocked about the way the brand was received. Things took off so fast that I had to speed up to catch up with things. In March 2021, I launched the Ever After Bridal Brand and this meant the website launched as well. The promo video and campaign were a hit. It aligned very well with my brand and the very first launch week we reached over 15,000 views on our social media platforms and over 2,000 web visitors from around the world. Web visitors and shoppers are currently located in Los Angeles, New Orleans, Miami, Daytona Beach, Brooklyn, Toronto, Galveston, Paris, Las Vegas, Charlotte, Chicago, Atlanta of course, Columbia, Russia (I am deeply humbled), Trinidad and Tobago, Romania, Jamaica and a host of other places.

Initially, we utilized a storage space to process orders. We quickly outgrew the initial storage space and in the spring of this year 2022, we opened the doors to our Private Boutique and Showroom location.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I think that any entrepreneur would like things to be easy. However, there has definitely been some struggles along the way. The way one entrepreneur struggles can be very different from the way another entrepreneur struggles. I will say that my struggles or bumps in the road have been very minor. Balance has been a struggle.

My advice to any new entrepreneur would be to find balance. It’s very easy to spend so much time in your business that you can quickly forget about balancing the other areas of your life.

I am the CEO of Ever After Bridal Atlanta. We specialize in Bridesmaids and Social Occasion dresses. I am proud of the connections that I have been able to make with brides here in Atlanta and other cities as well. I think what sets me apart is the fact that I speak to each one of my brides and customers. My ultimate goal is to continue to build a brand and store where customers can feel comfortable throughout the shopping experience. We carry gowns in store in sizes 2-26. We can even customize a size for a customer.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I think the most important characteristic and quality that is most important to success is my ability to make the bride/customer feel comfortable throughout the process.
