Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Randolph-Bennett.
Hi Ashley, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
How I got started? Hmmm Well, it was my son’s skin care needs that prompted me to create my line of natural products. AshB’s Beauty Bar was initially cultivated as a hobby. After trying many products with less than stellar results, AshB’s Beauty Bar then became my passion. I wanted to create the perfect combination of natural ingredients that would sufficiently cater to his skin care needs. After that, one day I posted on my Instagram that I had found the perfect formula for my son’s skin and that I was so excited. I got two requests for orders from that post. It went up from there!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been the smoothest, but I’ve made the best of it! Spacing is my biggest issue. I started making body butters in my apartment with a hand mixer. It spilled over into my dining area and my living area. My love bought me some shelving to help with organization and I ran out of space just as quickly as it was put together, lol.

To start, most of my products have multiple uses. Everything is considered all-natural. I used shea butters, soy (in the candles), vitamin E, essential oils (not fragrances), etc. My candles double as massage oils, my body butters have been used for hair and more.
What matters most to you?
My family…the one I come from and the one I’m building. Their love and support is unmatched and their words help keep me going.
