Exploring Life & Business with Breah Wilkerson of Gigi’s DOLLHOUSEEEE 💓

Today we’d like to introduce you to Breah Wilkerson

Hi Breah, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in a salon so being a hair stylist has always been my calling. My mother was a hair stylist so on the weekends I would get up at 6 am and help her with her clients she had on Saturdays. By the time day was over I would have made my 50 dollars in tips and you couldn’t tell me nothing. I was about 10 at the time so making 50 dollars in one day and I was doing something I like I always told myself by the time I’m 30 I will be a billionaire. Fast forward to now when I first found out I was having a little girl I knew I wanted to pass down something to her so that’s how I came up with the name Gigis DOLLHOUSEEEE! I want people to know when you book an appointment with me you will feel like a true queen, princess or even prince that you are .

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Has this been a smooth road ? That’s a good question. It hasn’t smooth but it hasn’t been hard either . I’m my worst critic, I want everything to be perfect. And I think that’s the part I’m learning to just go with flow because nothing is going to be perfect. However I have to make the best of each situation and also make it a learning experience . As long as I don’t quit and keep going I will overcome ever obstacle I face .

We’ve been impressed with Gigi’s DOLLHOUSEEEE 💓, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Gigi’s DOLLHOUSEEEE is the name of my business and I started my business in 2019 right after I graduated cosmetology school. I specialize in knotless and stitch braids. I am mainly known for my stitch braids. The biggest thing I think that sets me apart from other braiders are my clean parts and my creativity. I just want people to know that I am a wonderful stylist. I offer wonderful customer service. It will be a whole vibe when you sit in my chair we’re gonna have a good time and you will leave out feeling like a whole new person.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Being with my grandfather was my favorite childhood memory. I couldn’t do nothing wrong in his eyes . We would always go to the parks get me and siblings whatever we want . And every spring we would start a garden with all the vegetables and fruit . He loved his tomato trees . I miss him dearly .
