Exploring Life & Business with Bri Woo of Haus of Spicy/Spicy Hair Care

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bri Woo.

Hi Bri, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started with one product – edge control for hair. That product started my journey of entrepreneurship and what it meant to actually sell goods and services. I became the go-to for edge control and wanted to explore into more products.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t always been the smoothest journey but it’s been a true learning experience. I’ve been able to market to different groups of people and maintain authenticity throughout – it’s been the best experience with both good and bad. I’ve really learned how to persevere and keep trucking on despite the adversity.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Haus of Spicy/Spicy Hair Care?
My business is one that came from zero experience and zero handouts. I decided to become an entrepreneur because of what makes me happy and makes me feel good. I’m super proud of my ability to ignore the noise and do what’s best for my brand – it’s always a good feeling when people can distinguish you from the others. I’m always told how good my products are and that’s the best feeling as a business owner.

I want readers to know that I pride myself on awesome customer service and ship my products out daily.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
My ability to be personable and so relatable has kept my business thriving. I’ve been able to retain customers and develop relationships with them because I answer questions and actually have conversations. I also will be the first one to tell a customer if the product is right for them or not – I don’t lie for sales.
