Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryan Majors. They and their team shared their story with us below:
Bryan is a true inspiration, hailing from the heart of Harrisburg, PA. His journey is a testament to the power of dedication and perseverance, one that resonates deeply with educators and corporate CEOs alike.
In 2006, Bryan graduated from John Harris with a remarkable 3.9 GPA, showcasing his commitment to excellence both in the classroom and on the basketball court. As a starting point guard for the Harrisburg Cougars for two years, he exemplified leadership and teamwork from an early age, qualities that would define his path.
Taking his talents to Susquehanna University on an academic scholarship, Bryan continued to excel. He graduated in 2010 with a 3.6 GPA, making history as the first African-American male to earn a degree in elementary education from the institution. His journey was a testament to breaking barriers and defying expectations.
But Bryan’s story doesn’t end there. His prowess on the basketball court was equally remarkable, earning him accolades such as Rookie of the Year and two-time conference Defensive Player of the Year. His leadership was undeniable, as he became the career leader in assists, second leader in steals, a two-year captain, and a four-year starter.
Bryan’s thirst for knowledge led him to Penn State University, Harrisburg Campus, where he earned a Master of Public Administration degree with a focus on Non-Profit Organizations. Even here, he didn’t just focus on academics; he poured his passion into basketball as a graduate assistant and worked alongside the athletic director.
In 2012, Bryan began laying the foundation for a legacy through Major Prep LLC, Bryan Majors LLC, Major Prep Apparel, and Major Prep Cycle Breakers (501C3). These ventures were built on the values instilled by his father – always being prepared for life’s opportunities and challenges. His mission was clear: to help others prepare to overcome individual obstacles that hinder the achievement of their life goals.
Now, Bryan stands as a retired professional basketball player for the Harlem Globetrotters Organization, having embraced his entrepreneurial journey wholeheartedly. He is known as the Modern Day Hope Dealer, an Amazon #1 Best Selling Author, Black Enterprise Recognized Author, College Adjunct Professor, Professional Basketball Trainer, and a Transformational Leadership & Character Development Coach. His impact has reached thousands of lives, leaving an indelible mark on the world.
Bryan’s story is a beacon of hope, a testament to what can be achieved through determination, education, and a passion for empowering others. His journey is an inspiration for students, athletes, parents, educators, CEOs, and anyone striving to make a lasting impact on the world.
