Today we’d like to introduce you to Christa Williams
Hi Christa, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in a very poor family under unfortunate circumstances. I was on my own at age 14 and got emancipated at age 16. I worked 3 jobs just to make it through high school and put myself through college. I always knew I wanted more out of life so I worked hard and advanced myself to the top of every job I’ve ever had. During that time, I met my amazing husband, Chris and he inspired and helped me to start my own business. I own and run, Synergy Wellness, a nationwide corporate wellness company that I started in 2008. It allowed me to travel the US and do what I love most, helping people. In 2016 I had my son, Easton. He is the heart of our family, so I started looking for another business to start so I could stay home more. I explored several opportunities, but eventually settled on Prime IV Hydration & Wellness. I love their wellness and customer service mindset, but their medical oversight and 797 compliance is what sealed the deal. Every client gets cleared by a Nurse Practitioner or Medical Doctor, and all of our compounding meets or exceeds 797 laboratory compliance. This is not the case at many other franchises or independent IV clinics.
As I said, helping people is my passion, so much so, I decided to open 3 locations Prime Marietta (East Cobb) – currently open, Prime Suwanee coming soon, and a third location we are exploring now.
I’m married to my best friend Chris. We’ve been together 20 years and we have an amazing 8 year old son named Easton. We call ourselves the Big Three and spend a lot of time together. We love to explore the world around us. Traveling is one of our favorite things to do. We love the lake and enjoy boating, and water sports. We also love The Pittsburgh Steelers! My husband and I are both from Pittsburgh and we love our Steelers Football. We have 2 Dogs. Macy (17.5 years) & Lucy (1.5 years). They are a huge part of our family and travel with us frequently.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I don’t think any road is without bumps. It’s how you navigate them that determines if you succeed or fail. I started my business with nothing and worked full time for 4 years at my job as well as working full time to get Synergy Wellness off the ground. I was blessed to be able to quit my job in 2012 and focus all of my efforts on my business. Synergy was steadily growing and then covid-19 hit. Covid was a huge obstacle for me and I had to pivot to keep my business running. Going without income for 6 months was a wake-up call. Since then the landscape for wellness has changed and it’s become more challenging. All of these factors along with not wanting to have our financial future dependent on one thing finally gave me the push I needed to open our Prime IV locations.

I am in the process of opening 2 more Prime IV’s. The next one will be in Suwanee, GA and it will open in a few months. After Suwanee is open I will be choosing the next location to open. Personally, I plan to Travel the World with my Family, and live everyday to the fullest.
