Today we’d like to introduce you to Divine Taylor.

Hi Divine, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I always had a passion looking at the model homes to see how they are decorated. Once I purchased my first investment property and flipped it back in 2001, I discovered my passion in real estate. I decided to get my real estate license in 2002. I left my six figure high tech sales job to pursue my passion. I started out working for high production builders and developers including a residential developer at Atlantic Station. This is where I received my expertise in New Home Construction and condo developments to be able to guide builders and developers with market stats and direction on buyer needs. I then transitioned into general brokerage working in all aspects of real estate.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. The market crash back in 2008 made it difficult for many individuals, especially developers and investors. Fast forward to Covid (which the market has recovered nicely from) where building materials increased and inventory became extremely limited and delays on new builds were the inevitable. It is especially difficult for buyers in this unique sellers market. They’re in a position where they have to bid over list price, waive appraisals, and shorten their due diligence time period just to compete against multiple offers. Fortunately with my years of experience, I am able to navigate through this market smoothly and find my buyers their dream home and net my sellers top dollar in record times. The market is starting to slowly shift, and interest rates are on the rise so you have to be able to be flexible in different market conditions.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The Close Real Estate Group is a FULL SERVICE boutique real estate agency. A transaction in real estate isn’t complete until you make it to THE CLOSE. We work with buyers and sellers, investors, builders and developers, and corporations. Our clientele is diverse, ranging from the first-time homebuyer to the luxury estate seller. We are a full-service real estate agency that can assist sellers with staging their home through The Close Staging. We help with managing renovations through The Close Concierge. We can provide sellers cash offers on their homes through The Cash Close program. We can also help sellers sell and buy with The Close Home Swap program. We recently added a program for buyers that will back their offer with cash converting their offer to a CASH DEAL to be able to compete in a competitive market. We pursue off market deals for our buyers and investors. We also offer The Close Relo for those relocating out of state or relocating to the Atlanta area. We have tailored programs to suit mostly everyone’s needs.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
The quality I feel that is most important to my success is INTEGRITY. I understand that a real estate transaction is probably the single  largest transaction one will ever make in their life. When you have a high level of integrity, you’re able to treat each transaction as if it were your own and provide the proper care, detail, and expertise. At that point, superior customer service flows with ease.
