Hi Ebonie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
As a little girl, I would always watch my mom get into glam mode! She wouldn’t leave home without looking over the top fabulous! She was known as “GINA THE DIVA”! She actually has been one of my biggest inspirations on this journey. Now, as an adult, I love to express myself through clothing and accessories. I decided to share my passion for fashion with the world by opening Heaven Jewels Boutique in March of 2021. My boutique was only online until January of 2022 and now customers have the option to shop in store!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Of course not! As an entrepreneur, you will definitely have your share of obstacles. It can be very overwhelming trying to find balance with everything in your life. Sometimes you become discouraged from having no sales or low sales. You just have to stay on course and remember the reason why you started your business! At the end, every struggle along the way would have been worth it.
We’ve been impressed with Heaven Jewels Boutique, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Heaven Jewels Boutique sells accessories to complete any look for any occasion. Our accessories are bold, unique, and over the top statement pieces. Our accessories allow women to express their individuality. Women are able to make a statement without saying a word.
What are your plans for the future?
It’s all about growth when it comes to being a business owner. I love to network and build my brand! I definitely want to see Heaven Jewels Boutique worldwide!
