Today we’d like to introduce you to Gianna N. Brown.
Hi Gianna N. , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My story began taking form at the age of 12 when I started my first business. With a deep conviction that generational change could start with one girl, one woman who dared to honor her gifts, leveraging them to lift others. Over the years, I learned to own my purpose, to educate, to empower the masses. By helping people shape their narratives, build wealth, and lead lives aligned with their highest calling, my soul is inundated with cheer. What started as a passion for authentically teaching evolved into a full-scale consulting firm where I guide clients through the sacred process of authorship and financial elevation. Today, I serve as both mentor and mirror, guiding high-achieving students or professionals to transform their expertise into legacy-building books and financially confident futures.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Smooth roads to success only exist in heaven. Life’s road has been transformative, rock in some seasons and smooth in others. I faced seasons where resources were limited, vision felt heavy, and the unceasing responsibility of leadership required immense courage I had yet to grow into. Yet each challenge sharpened my resilience and deepened my commitment to building a life anchored in my unique purpose rather than societal pressures. The most meaningful breakthroughs often follow moments when we choose discipline, faith, and self-trust over fear. For example, my most lucrative six-figure year occurred during COVID, when it was easier to focus on the pandemic. Pressure makes diamonds, but pursuing purpose makes dynasties.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
The Money Cheerleader® is where financial clarity meets creative empowerment. Under the Get Fin Lit® organization, we curate four-part financial literacy series for ages 10 to 80. Then, our Legacy Asset Books division partners with entrepreneurs, executives, and visionaries turn their lived experiences into published books while simultaneously building the financial infrastructure needed to sustain their dreams. Our programs blend soulful strategy, wealth education, and high-touch coaching that honors both the intellect and the heart of every client. What sets us apart is our commitment to legacy, hence supporting clients in writing impactful books, while designing lives and businesses that echo long after their words are read.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My favorite childhood memories are those moments when imagination breathed life into my first form of leadership. Whether building a backyard clubhouse with a single window, turning my mother’s garage into a full hair salon as a teenager, or seeing my poem published in the fifth grade, I tapped into my special gifts. I didn’t yet have the language for ambition or legacy, I watched the women in my family lead with grace, grit, and generosity. Those small acts of creativity fertilized my greater purpose. Spelman, then amplified my self belief, catapulting me to buy my first home at 23. Looking back, I realize those moments taught me to trust my intuition, honor my gifts, and believe in the brilliance that lives within all of us.
