Exploring Life & Business with Giovanni Morales of PMR Renovations

Today we’d like to introduce you to Giovanni Morales.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
After graduating high school, I had a dream to start my own business. I was a teen dad, so I know I had to work even harder for my family. I took care of my younger brother (Ivan Morales) he was my motivation to be the person I am today.

It all started with a partnership that unfortunately did not work out, so we parted ways as business partners. Ivan motivated me and told me how much he believed on me. We were a small custom cabinet company at the moment. I started taking on bigger projects and transitioned from a cabinet company to a kitchen and bath business. Our attention to detail made us the best kitchen and baths in town. Pretty soon after that success, we decided to take on larger projects. We dipped our toes into the full-home remodeling.

All the funding came from your truly. No loans, no one believed in me. It was very hard for myself especially because my family turned their backs on me when I most needed them.

Successfully, we now have vans in the streets, truck, trailers and a big clientele.

I recently got into the Airbnb business with a few partners, and that is going to be great and blow up soon. I’m so excited for my crew, who consists mostly of my family members. I wouldn’t be where I am at today with PMR Renovations LLC. without my family of guys. It is a team effort, every day. I love every single one of them and I want them to know it. My crew leaders Ivan, Efrain, Victor, and my guys that work under them.

It has been a long journey, for sure, but things don’t stop here. We are just getting started, I’m only 30 years old. I hope my story can inspire someone. I don’t have a lot of detail because writing is not what I do, but I hope you can help me out with this together.

Now that I’ve grown up. My kids are the ones who inspire me. I love them so much. They are my why…

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Struggles. We didn’t have vehicles, we rented U-HAUL trucks and borrowed vehicles from others to keep rolling. I funded the business as I went and sacrificed so much in life. I worked without my own tools and no extra labor help because we couldn’t afford it.

I took the minimum pay for myself, as a leader, because I was learning the business.

We’ve been impressed with PMR Renovations LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
PMR Renovations is a business I started after my father.

He inspired me when I was younger, seeing him running his business. He always told me to be self-employed and not work for someone else.

PMR Renovations specializes in interior remodeling. We have a group of professionals, including a designer.
I am the owner and project manager of the business.

What sets me apart from others is we are a family. My guys and I have a great relationship, and everyone loves what they do. If you don’t enjoy what you are doing, you are in the wrong business. We provide quality work, not quantity. If quantity is what you are looking for, we might be the wrong business for your remodel. Our attention to detail and craftmanship is what sets us apart.

I want these readers to know that you are going to get the best experience out of us. Five-star customer service, the best quality work, and experience for your home improvements.
I am most proud of the guys that work for me. Without them, this interview would not be possible.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
PMR Renovations will be the biggest and best remodeling company in the state of Georgia. My partners and I from the Airbnb are looking to own over 20 homes in the next five years.
