Exploring Life & Business with Ireon Valore of Ire’s Beauty Factory

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ireon Valore.

Hi Ireon, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I actually grew up around hair — my mom was a licensed cosmetologist for over 30 years, and I was her shampoo assistant in high school. She used to always ask me to press her hair, and I’d tell her it was easy enough for her to do herself, but she’d say, “It’s just something about when you do it.” I didn’t realize then how much that would stick with me.

After she passed in January 2021 and I lost my job later that year, my friends encouraged me to try doing hair professionally. I started in July 2021 — which is also my mom’s birthday month — and it felt like continuing a legacy. What started as stepping out on faith grew into Ire’s Beauty Factory, where I focus on healthy hair, luxury silk press services, and creating an experience where clients feel confident, cared for, and at home.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road, but it’s definitely been rewarding. Since I’m home-based, one of my biggest challenges was renovating my basement into a space where clients felt comfortable, safe, and cared for — that took time, faith, and investment. Emotionally… losing my mom, who was a cosmetologist, is something I still navigate. Some days it motivates me, other days I miss her deeply, but it keeps me grounded in why I do this. Overall, I’ve been really blessed with an amazing, loyal clientele, so in that sense, the journey has been very fulfilling.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Ire’s Beauty Factory?
Ire’s Beauty Factory is a luxury natural hair studio focused on healthy hair care, especially silk presses, treatments, trims, and preparing hair for protective styles. My goal is always healthy, manageable hair first — the sleek results are just the bonus. I really specialize in silk presses that prioritize hair integrity while still giving that clean, silky finish my clients love.

What sets me apart is the experience. I’ve intentionally created a comfortable, elevated environment where clients feel relaxed, heard, and cared for — not just serviced. Because I’m home-based, I’ve been able to make it very personal while still professional, and I think clients truly feel that.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve built. A lot of my clients have been with me for years, and seeing their hair grow healthier while also building genuine connections means everything. I want readers to know that Ire’s Beauty Factory isn’t just about hair — it’s about confidence, consistency, and creating a space where people can show up as themselves and leave feeling even better.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Honestly, I wouldn’t be where I am without the people around me. My dad deserves a lot of credit because he allowed me to use our home — my childhood home — as a space to build my business and serve my clients. My mom, who was a cosmetologist, gave me the talent and foundation. Looking back, she was teaching me long before I even realized it, and that legacy means everything to me.

My best friend, Dymond, has really stepped into a manager role for me. Whenever I’m unsure about my next move or second-guessing myself, I can always go to her for encouragement and guidance. My girlfriends also encouraged me to step out on faith and try doing hair professionally when I was figuring things out.

And of course, my clients have been a huge part of my journey. My top clients have supported me in such a real way, and one client in particular, Haley, has always loved and supported me out loud, which really helped elevate my confidence and my business. I’m truly grateful for all of them.
