Today we’d like to introduce you to Jamar Thomas.

Hi Jamar , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started in HVAC because I wanted a hands-on career where I could build a real skill and see the results of my work every day. Early on, I focused on learning the fundamentals installation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance and I made it a priority to learn from experienced technicians and stay open to feedback.

Over time, I became more confident diagnosing systems, working independently, and communicating with customers. I’ve worked on a range of residential and commercial systems and take pride in doing the job the right way, safely and efficiently. Each role I’ve had has helped me sharpen my technical skills and my professionalism.

Today, I’m at a point where I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and focused on continuing to grow in the field. I’m now open to sharing my knowledge with the up and coming technicians seeking to good things in this business.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been completely smooth, but the challenges really helped shape me. Early on, one of the biggest struggles was the learning curve HVAC is very technical, and there’s a lot to absorb in real-world situations. I had to stay patient, ask questions, and sometimes learn the hard way in the field.

I’ve also worked through physically demanding days, tight timelines, and situations where you have to troubleshoot under pressure. Balancing speed with doing the job correctly was something I had to develop over time.

Those challenges pushed me to become more disciplined, detail-oriented, and confident in my skills. Instead of discouraging me, they motivated me to get better, and now I’m much more comfortable handling issues independently.

We specialize in residential HVAC installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and customer trust. Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5–10 years, I see the HVAC industry continuing to shift toward energy efficient and smart systems. More homeowners are choosing high-efficiency units, smart thermostats, and integrated climate controls that reduce costs and improve comfort.

Overall, I think the industry is moving toward smarter, greener, and more customer-focused solutions and skilled technicians who stay current with technology and best practices will be in high demand
