Hi Kaira, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
Absolutely! I’m Kaira, an Insurance Broker in Georgia and several other states. Helping people has always been a big part of who I am. Throughout my life, volunteering and giving back to the community have been my priorities. During college, joining Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated was a natural step for me, as the sorority is deeply committed to community service, which resonated with my own values.

This experience further fueled my passion for making a difference in people’s lives. After college, it led me into the insurance industry, where I found a way to help people feel secure and protected. Being able to offer peace of mind and support through insurance has been incredibly rewarding, and it’s exactly the path I was meant to follow.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Sure, my path hasn’t been without its challenges. One of the main challenges I’ve faced is the issue of high insurance rates in the market. It’s been a task to navigate these fluctuations and ensure my clients still receive great value, which is incredibly important to me. Getting ready for my state exams was also a big commitment.

It meant a lot of studying and research to become a broker while juggling other duties, but I managed to pass on my first attempt, which was a huge achievement for me. These experiences have sharpened my skills and deepened my understanding of the industry, reinforcing my commitment to providing top-notch service to my clients.
