Today we’d like to introduce you to Kim Pyron.
My journey into crafted teas and magical products has been the most wondrous of adventures. As a retired nurse, chef, artist and professional psychic medium, I bring a lifelong passion for incredible flavors, unique blends, a touch of whimsy and magick to everything I create. Beginning with only a few wellness teas, I opened a small ‘weekend’ shop in the North Georgia Mountains and in less than a year it grew into having over 100 premium teas, a monthly tea subscription and being open seven days a week.
From there I added homemade Belgian hot chocolate to the mix and serve it hot or iced. Besides the classic chocolate I also have a spicy version and flavors like French lavender & rose, coconut-hazelnut or smoked caramel. Our chot /iced chocolate is a delicious way for me to share even more exciting flavors with my customers.
With new products and flavors combinations being added daily my little ‘weekend’ shop is always new and fresh.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like all roads to success, my road has had a few bumps, but no major ones. My path has been mostly one of exciting twists and turns. It’s been like a front-seat roller coaster ride with both hands in the air! I’m not sure what is coming next, but I trust the Universe and know it will be exciting for both me and my customers.
As you know, we’re big fans of My Vintage Gypsy Teas. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
We are a unique shop that specializes in premium teas and tea wares, exclusive gifts, crystals, books and all things magick. We also host several events throughout the year and a Women’s Retreat. Our Mad Hatter’s Tea Party will be April 1st and Harry Potter’s Birthday Bash will be July 29th. They both offer games prizes, a fun day of dress-up and of course great tea! The annual Women’s Soul Full Weekend, April 27-30th, is an all inclusive get away at the beautiful Elohee Retreat Center-just north of Dahlonega. It’s a chance to connect with your inner divine, relax and completely unwind. There will be group meditation, chanting, light yoga, laughter and peace.
Besides in-store products, I also offer psychic-medium services. As an ordained minister and Spiritual Life Coach, I help clients connect with past loved ones and offer guided insight to their deepest questions.
