Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyle Jackson.
Hi Kyle, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Chelsea and I had been talking about home staging for years because we thought we could do a better job than what was currently on offer in Atlanta. Eventually we pulled the trigger in 2019 on a new loft listing that I had. I want to say that since then, I’ve come across a lot of great stagers in Atlanta. But I think that we do offer the best service for the style that we have.
Fast forward two years and we have a 3,000 square foot warehouse and are balancing about 12 or 13 staged homes at once.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Logistics has always been the hardest part. We’ve been through a few different locations–at one point we had 5 different units rented at a self-storage location. Needless to say, we had no clue where any specific furniture was and it probably cost us more in paying people to find it and load it on the truck than if we just leased a bigger warehouse in the first place. It feels like we have a good rhythm now.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
EVHS is a home staging company that specializes in turning vacant homes into clients-ready experiences for today’s buyer. Most people seek us out for our midcentury modern slant that we think works really well with a lot of Atlanta’s classic architecture—craftsmans, bungalows, ranches.
