Exploring Life & Business with Majid Rezalangeroudi of Ermiya Chef LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Majid Rezalangeroudi.

Hi Majid, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I had a small restaurant in my country of birth. I immigrated to the US with my wife in 2017 due to religious beliefs, we had no capital. So we started working in an Iranian restaurant. We dreamed of a family business from the very beginning. My wife and I went through a lot of hardships. We gained a lot of experience in the field of food, work, and starting a business. We never gave up on our dream. We have interesting experiences that we will share with you later. We saved a little and started an Iranian food catering business a year ago and we are very successful.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
We were refugees. We didn’t have a car to go to work. We didn’t speak English. We didn’t have money. We weren’t very familiar with labor laws. Long hours with low pay.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
