Hi Marcus, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I always had an interest in electronics since I was a child. After getting laid off from my previous job me my best friend, Marlon decided to open our own electronics repair store. His business experience and my technical experience were a perfect match. After 5 quick years of business, we’re still going strong with no plans on stopping.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Overall, yes. We’re grateful to have a steady flow of business. The biggest challenge is navigating challenging situations with customers. Such as a defective parts or shipping delays. Things that are out of our control, but as the face of the business, you have to take accountability.

We focus on repairing electronics of all kinds! Phones, Tablets, Laptops, Desktops, Gaming Consoles, Speakers, Key Fobs. You name it! We offer soldering services that aren’t that common for repair stores to offer. We also have the lowest prices in the area in comparison to competitors.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Opening the store was certainly a large risk. It required a large monetary investment and hours of manual labor. Had it not worked out, it would have taken years to recover. Thankfully, the plan we had in mind panned out how we imagined. We would like to take more risk in the future and expand.
