Today we’d like to introduce you to Mikale Sampson.
Hi Mikale, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started Kakes Contours The KC Brand LLC 3 years ago. I was introduced to the industry by a great family friend. The journey I went through with utilizing my body sculpting technique was truly something that changed my life. I knew it would impact others. I did 8 sessions on myself. I lost over 52 Pounds. I still do sessions from time to time to maintain my body shape. I use my story to relate to clients and let them know they are never alone and I can and will do anything in my power to help. I offer body sculpting services to everyday people and elite/ celebrities. I sell waist trainers and post-op Garments and do post-op care heavily. I also do 50 + vendor events and business expos. My brand took me from living in the Salvation Army to owning my own shop and traveling the world servicing clients and publishing on billboards and in magazines. Kakes Contours Will be a House Hold Name.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Building my business from the ground up was far from a smooth road. Of course, with any business venture, everything is not going to be all peaches and cream. I’ve had to struggle with discrimination, scammers, fake pages, and disrespect. See I am Kakes Contours, I am built off of struggle, pain, and life. I can handle any dark road because I’ll always see the light at the end of the tunnel. Being young in the game and not knowing the ends and outs really helped mold me now years later. I have went through mistakes trials and errors. Those mistakes and errors taught me lessons that I will carry with me for life. Situations that transpired in the moment, where I can now look back and honestly laugh or say that was a real milestone or stepping stone for me. 2022/2023 this generation is different. Only a small percentage believes in helping the next one elevate and be successful so it is hard. Especially if you don’t know the right people. I’m just one of those black sheep that never gave up and lost focus, and I recommend to any entrepreneur or self-made superstar to never lose sight on the real goal. It’s never easy, but it’s always worth it.

I’ve been running my business since 21 and I’m just turning 25. I am a 7 times Certified body sculptor who has a degree in medical billing and coding and a second degree pending in medical massage therapy as of 2023. I am a published Model, I also create and organize business expos and 50-plus vendor events in various cities throughout the years. I am known for my infamous 3-belt neoprene waist trainers and my always selling fat-burning cream along with my hands sent from god. I give the most astonishing lymphatic drainage massage where I almost pop out the rib cage. Girls always come to me discouraged from other sculptors stating they didn’t see results. At Kakes Contours my girls brag about their results. My techniques have led me to the bodies of multiple celebrities. It’s different when your a sculptor and don’t know the body only what the sculptor taught you on the street. I’ve been studying the body since I was YOUNG. I took ap anatomy in high school. I love the body. You have to know how it operates and what’s underneath the skin to really understand what each client needs, and that’s what I am always going to give no matter what. CONSISTENCY. I’m always researching and educating my brain 🧠 in my field. Quality.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I can’t help but thank god and my kids for the push I needed in my life to keep going and my mom in my life being my biggest cheerleader telling me that I can do it and believing in me. If it wasn’t for the Owner of Body By Faith planting that seed that I nourished with everything I had left who knows. I had me. My mental was everywhere at one point. Now I work hard and hit every goal and plan I set for myself. I pay my way as all should and I focus on what’s next. My team and circle are small.
