Today we’d like to introduce you to Miracle Douglas.
Hi Miracle, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My name is Miracle Douglas and I have been a physical therapist going on 10 years. I first started as an outpatient physical therapist working with adults and I was so miserable to the point I wanted to change my entire profession. At the time my mom was working as a program specialist and she was great friends with the ESE coordinator of Leon County Schools in FL so I was able to get my foot in the door to begin as a school based physical therapist working only with children. I was heavily involved with the youth ministry of the church I attended in FL so I already had a compassion for working with children. I stayed with the school system for 3 years and then was introduced to early intervention with a speech therapist friend who had her own company and needed a PT. This is where my love for working with infants and toddlers truly blossomed in which this is still my favorite age range to work with now. After working with this company for about 2 years, my husband and I moved to McDonough GA where I worked with an outpatient pediatric clinic and other school based physical therapist jobs simultaneously. I was so grateful for these opportunities but I soon realized these would never be my forever job. The Lord had more in store for my family and I. So my husband and I took a leap of faith after our first son was born in Dec 2023 and started the pediatric therapy business known as Miracles and Moree Therapy in Jan 2024. In June 2025, the Lord instructed us to move back to my husband’s hometown Bainbridge/Climax GA and we are in the process of getting the business transferred to this location, in which we will be taking another leap of faith in God by getting a small commercial space in Nov 2025. The Lord has truly shown Himself faithful through the beginning of our journey and we are trusting Him every step of the way with this new endeavor before us!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The main struggles have recently been adjusting to this relocation of South Ga and overcoming financial roadblocks. Trying to secure funding for a newer business has been difficult because most financial institutions want you to show that you’ve been in business for a longer amount of time in order to be approved. We have also applied to a couple grants so far but still no success as of yet. Having the right amount of funding is essential for us to sustain our upcoming commercial space as well as to purchase needed equipment for our children and to prayerfully one day soon hire more people to the Miracles and Moree Therapy team.

Miracles and Moree Therapy is a Christian based pediatric therapy company that provides skilled therapy services (currently PT and soon to add OT, Speech, ABA and Music Therapy) to children ages birth to 18 years old. We offer a hybrid services model with both in person and virtual services to accommodate our families and their schedules. We also offer a FATE program which offers a flexible spending option for families needed more assistance with paying for therapy services when insurance issues arise. Our branding is unique because we truly see therapy as a miracle and gift from God, hence our overall business name. We also believe that families should be able to come to therapy center where not only their children are loved, but where they can also come and be loved and supported throughout their children’s therapy journey.

Happiness comes to me when I’m operating in the will that God has ordained for my life.
