Hi Randolph, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I grew up playing baseball, I started when I was 3. I’ve always had a passion for the game. I was fortunate to play 7 seasons with the Orioles and Pirates. I coached with the Padres and scouted with the Mariners for 2 years. Now I create and help players reach their goals.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There are always struggles but if I personally pay attention to them I don’t continue the journey. I don’t pay attention to struggle, I embrace them and keep my feet moving.
As you know, we’re big fans of The Swing Source. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
The Swing Source is based on a training device I created from personal feel to help improve swings in a timely manner. I specialize in hitting for baseball and softball. I don’t worry about others, that’s what sets me apart. The Swing Source offers a simple design and function that can be used anywhere you have space i.e the backyard, basement, batting cage, etc. you can learn and improve anywhere.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I see The Swing Source hitting trainer being a vital piece in majority of training and progressions around the world of baseball and softball.
