Hi Regine, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started taking my health and wellness journey when COVID-19 began to spread. People were getting sick left and right and I figured that the best way for me not to catch it was to stay active and keep my immunity boosted.
I had been taking a few supplements at the time but after some research, I learned that juicing natural fruits and veggies helps to heal the body. It hit me that most of my family and friends knew nothing about using juicing as a health strategy so I then knew that I would change that for my community.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been a smooth road so far but it gets bumpy sometimes. I am a huge foodie and come from a southern family so it’s hard to accept the fact that I can’t always eat what I have a taste for. Certain foods may cause you to feel drowsy but the reality is, food is supposed to give you energy. If your food is putting you to sleep too often, it’s time to change your diet.
