Today we’d like to introduce you to Renetta Cheston.

Renetta Cheston

Hi Renetta, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I was living in McDonough, GA & I heard it’s time to pivot. I was like what? I heard it again, it’s time to pivot. At the time, I had a 5 bedroom 4 bath house, close to 3 businesses, family, & so many other things. When I heard pivot, I thought it would be we’re going to do something small. Then I heard the pivot is moving locations. I had been at the house for 6-7 years. I was like I thought this was my forever home. Then everything started falling apart. I set my sites on a new location not knowing I was moving out of the country to restart my life again. Was it scary, yes! I planned to bring my family but they stayed behind. That meant I went for alone but with my trusty steed my dog. So I chose Costa Rico & that started everything. I sold my house & everything I could. Then I gave away the rest. My dog & I set off for a journey that we didn’t know how it would end. Going to a country of knowing no one with fear in my throat knowing I was in the military & can handle anything. I landed in the country knowing only where I would stay for a week & then off on a journey that I had no idea of what was going to happen. Every trauma, fear, things I thought i dealt with came up & I was alone with God to work through with people around yet in full isolation at the same time. I was in paradise, but I was on a journey to find the real me inside. In the process, I left so many people, things, places, & learned so much about myself in the process. I went on a Hero’s journey that I didn’t know in was going into. I’m so different than I was before I started & I’m ok with walking alone instead of pretending I’m ok with people who break my heart or on purpose harm me. I decided if I needed to walk alone I would. I’m so proud of myself I’m not even the same person anymore. God is good!

I’m the process, I have two-NY Times best selling books, ( “Mindset Matters”-Jack Canfield, “Influence & Impact” – Chris Voss) wrote 3 more books my own (In the Garden with the Father: Understanding True Intimacy”, “Befriending the Shadow”, Unshakable Peace – Unstoppable Change”-all available on Amazon), started my own personal bookstore with specialty items (https://books.by/renetta-cheston-life-success-results), & so many other things that are gong well because I became a Human Design Practitioner, understanding the processes of the body & how generational baggage/trauma travels from mother to son or daughter. This allowed me to se I wanted to stop somethings in my bloodline! I took a risk on me & it’s working out better than I expected. I really didn’t know to expect! I just started with the mind of a child. God said to get anything He has, you must first know that you know nothing that way He fills me up with the wisdom I need on a daily & hourly basis.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No. I came to a country knowing no one & had to depend on people to assist me. This meant, I was opening my heart to people I didn’t know. This is needed no matter where you are in life. To work with others, you get to pull your guard down to get the assistance you need. In the process, I had money stolen, been gang-stalked, gossiped about but no one here knew me as I thought, moved many times, & had some of the things I brought with me to Costa Rico stolen during the customs process. I arrived & people that were originally from the Atlanta area staying here toiled my money but never gave the goods that were needed. I built some things for me to have garden space, etc & was stolen from as well. They gave a me a price that wasn’t correct, I kept asking & they said I wouldn’t do you like that but did. I was lied to about so much, I had the opportunity to get mad or just walk away from those experiences learning lessons. I chose to detach & learn lessons while detaching-it brought me so much peace & growth. I woke up to the truth that was going on around the world & in my own former home town. I chose to forgive myself for not knowing & forgiving them as well while releasing cleansing/purifying energy because all I owe then is love that’s it. If you look above you”ll some of my experiences.

I became a memory of “Who’s Who of America for 2025 & 2017-for the work I do with my businesses around the world. I became a member of “Influential Women of America (https://vimeo.com/1141600892/158c32daee?share=copyt). I Tok a risk on myself & I hit some rocks & acquired lots of cuts, bruises, ‘ a few bone contusion s along the way, but I’m so much better than I was. On top of that I’m city in a beautiful country on the equator! Even though most of the time I spend it alone with God, I’m good with that until the next season of change begins for me. I’ve learned not to rush anything but tar deep breaths, center myself, put my bare feet on the ground or in the water, & ride the waves of emotions the best way I can.

We’ve been impressed with Life Success Results, LLC , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I took arise in coming to this country alone with my dog but I knew I would be fine. I have God on my side & I’ve survived bigger stuff than this in my military career. I’ve had the opportunity to take risks to jump from one position in life to the next one. Was it scary yes! I had no guarantee it was going to work. Lots of times I came up empty handed, but I kept going. It’s one thing to be an entrepreneur with assistance around to help if you fail. It’s about her to have God as your business partner! I had no one to lean on but God & no one to blame but me. Every risk was done looking at what I could do without & fear I couldn’t. I chose that it was gonna be God, Bella (my dog), & me. If anyone else came it would be a plus but if not I wouldn’t be hurt. My grandparents used to say, Expect nothing but be thankful if someone does assist. I’ve had to trust my own intuition & the voice of God. When I tried to trust others the risks cost me everything! I’ve learned I have me & God will send who needs to come, but I have a responsibility to notice what’s off to say no thank you. I took risks thinking elders where wise & found out they weren’t healed of generational baggage/trauma. So they weren’t 60+ in years of age but little children who were never taught how to heal. Then that was pushed on me an unassuming bystander. I still take risks that doesn’t stop me. I don’t allow fear to stop me.
