My journey began during Covid, a time that pushed me to reevaluate my path. I was enrolled in college my freshman year but realized school wasn’t for me. I had to make a tough decision between focusing on schoolwork or practicing lashes to jumpstart my business. I took a leap of faith and chose entrepreneurship. I poured my energy into practicing and started posting my work creatively on TikTok.
Before I knew it, my videos began to blow up, and my business took off from there. Seeing the confidence my work brings to women has always kept me going. Through faith, perseverance, and trusting God, I’ve built something I’m truly proud of and excited for what’s ahead.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road hasn’t been smooth, and one of the toughest parts has been pushing through even when I didn’t know what the outcome would be. As the first entrepreneur in my family, I had to learn everything on my own—how to run a business, make smart financial decisions, and navigate challenges. When I first started, the class I took only taught me the basics like classic lash extensions. I had to teach myself how to style map, create other sets, and really perfect my craft. There were moments of doubt, mistakes, and feeling unsure, but I reminded myself that nothing worth having comes easy. Those struggles taught me resilience and made every milestone that much more rewarding. I’ve learned to trust the process and keep going, even when the path feels uncertain.

The name of my business is Ambreia’s Beauty Bar. I specialize in customizing lash sets to perfectly complement each client’s unique eye shape. I’m most known for my wispy and spiked sets, which have become a signature of my brand. Every lash set is carefully designed to enhance natural beauty and make my clients feel confident. What sets me apart is my dedication to creating a personalized experience. I take the time to truly understand my client’s preferences and craft lash styles that feel tailor-made just for them. My attention to detail, creativity, and commitment to making women feel empowered is the foundation of my business. I’m most proud of how my brand has grown into everything I dreamed of and more. Here I am, almost five years in, and I still have the same passion and love for my craft as when I started. Building this business has been a journey of faith, creativity, and hard work, and seeing my brand become exactly what I envisioned is one of the greatest joys of my life. Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
I didn’t have a mentor when I started, but I’ve been able to network and grow through my clients. Along the way, I’ve met so many different kinds of people who’ve opened doors I never expected. That’s why it’s so important to put yourself out there you never know who you’re going to meet or what God has planned for you. My advice is to stay open and be intentional about building connections. Whether it’s through your work, social media, or community events, take every opportunity to share your story and your passion. Sometimes, the best opportunities come from the most unexpected places.
