Robert, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started this company nearly 20 years ago when I bought a house myself and found the home inspection lacking. I wanted to provide a better service to people buying homes, so I went to school and got certified as a Master Home Inspector and started the business.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
In 2008 the housing market crashed. It was very difficult to make a living during that time because there just weren’t many houses being sold.

West Georgia Home Inspection, LLC is a privately owned and operated business that performs thorough home inspections for buyers and sellers. We do homes, businesses, and commercial building in and around the Atlanta area. we will provide our written report with color photographs the same day as the inspection.
What makes you happy?
I enjoy providing a quality service to people and helping them understand what it is that they are buying. A home purchase is the most expensive thing most people will ever buy. They need to have a good understanding of what they are getting in to.
Pricing:
- I currently charge from $400 to $500 depending on how far I have to travel for the job.
